Summary. When I first installed this I liked it, but I soon found what was for me a major problem.. My machine has 3 hard drives, 2 internal, and drive #3 is a Western Digital HD in a external usb dock.

The problem was that at each boot- up Kingsoft would prevent the system from seeing drive 3 and the only way to fix it was to unplug the drive and replug it, only then would the system recognize drive 3. But the big problem was that I went into Kingsofts options panel and turned off the usb protection and then rebooted.. Got it to work great on 1 computer. Cons. Failed to allow my Vista computer and another Win. NOT until it did it a 2nd time did I realize it was Kingsoft AV. Pretty upsetting and disappointing to say the least.

Tried to look for a place to contact them to give FB and nothing to be found, NOT good. If you have any doubts go with Panda, cloud, used it a lot works good, with no issues to speak of.

Pros* Detects viruses when popular AV's like Mc. Cafee, AVG or avast couldn't find one.* Excellent interface.* Variety of safety procedures.* Detects hacking attacks and stops them too.* Uses very less resources and doesn't slow down the system.* Windows updates or vulnerabilities is detected and necessary action is taken. Cons. Using it since a couple of years, no prblems yet. Summary. Highly recommended over the pricey sheeeeet recommended nowadays by software sites.

Over 2. 0 years I've tried about a doze others ad have gotten hit every time. Avast even showed me a virus on it's monitoring graph as active but the scan said clean. Tossed it ad tried this which stopped the infection first scan. I've never looked elsewhere since.

Summary. After reading so many good reviews about this product I decided to test it out in a VMware of Windows 7 3. For testing I downloaded a zip folder containing two Trojans. At first I ran a manual scan of the folder and it said both items were clean. So I then proceeded to execute the malware expecting at least an alert. I was wrong, in the end the Trojans which had not only been successfully executed, had managed to modify keys in the registry and even successfully install in System 3. And after all this Kingsoft still claimed the system was virus free. Would not recommend!
